Luftwaffe Tropical Shirt (Tropische Hemd)

Every detail, from the long pointed collars, the docked chest pocket corners, pocket pleats, scalloped pocket flaps, to the triangular gussets under the armpits, is included. The shirt has the correct long length and side slits. This woven 100% cotton shirt is in one of the many shades of Khaki-braun to help provide an authentic color shift between shirt, trousers, jacket and cap. Buttons are rust plastic like on the Luftwaffe tropical trousers. The shoulder strap buttons are the 19mm pebbled metal type painted brown. This shirt also includes a triangular, tropical, embroidered breast eagle.

A word about our fabric.
Because there was such a wide color spectrum used in the original uniforms, we make these uniforms in various shades and sometimes we vary the weight of the twill. We've gotten positive and negative feedback from different customers on the very same pieces, saying the color does or does not match with an original item they have in their collection. It's impossible for us to make and stock every known shade of Luftwaffe khaki-braun and we cannot guarantee shade choices.
