M38 Paratrooper Jump Trousers
Fallschirmjäger jump trousers were introduced in 1938 and the only difference with the later 1940 style was the presence of a first aid bandage pocket on the left hip. This was because the Fliegerbluse, which was the basic combat uniform blouse for the German paratroops, did not have a bandage pocket added to it until 1940. One interesting aspect of this model of trousers is that it never actually seems to have gone out of production.
