Army Summer (HBT) Uniform Jackets

These items are proudly made in Dallas, Texas

German MG34 crew. Probably taken in 1942, the crew wears M40 HBT reed green summer combat uniforms while the NCO sweats it out in his field gray wool M36 feldbluse. Camo helmet covers are field improvisations from a cut up zeltbahn. Also note the MP40 beside the MG34.
Long time Lost Battalions customers will remember this photo from our original 1995 website welcoming page. We have decided to repost it after all these years because:

#1 - One of our customers complained about the sleeves riding up his arm when the arm is pointed forward parallel to the ground. Note photo above. We guarantee your sleeve will ride up just like the loader's. No extra charge.

#2 - Another customer complained that his lower pockets were not positioned correctly as the back edge of the lower pocket flap was almost as far back as the belt hook on the side. Please note the position of the belt hook and the back edge of the lower pocket flap in the photo.

#3 - A reenactment unit "authenticity officer" tells us the summer uniform was never made with pleated pockets or scalloped pocket flaps. Look closely at the top pocket on the loaders left chest. Note the point of the flap and the pleat. This is the Model 1940.

Not only is the cut of these uniforms by far the most authentic available, these are made of 100% preshrunk, colorfast herringbone cotton, semi-lined in rayon "artificial silk".
