We are now collecting a 50% deposit that is NON-REFUNDiBLE. The boots are custom made for you and many times in the past we have been burnt by customers that order boots and in the end, decide not to go through with the transaction. This causes us to spend our money on an item that will sit on the shelf instead of us using it on material that we need. If you place an order for boots, we will charge you for half up front and for the rest once the boots are delivered to us. If you back out for ANY reason ( we really mean ANY reason), you WILL NOT receive your 50% deposit back NOR will you be allowed to use it as credit on something else. YOU WILL LOSE IT! This will help us with the monitary loss that we incurred by you. You will be agreeing to this policy if you order boots from us. No exceptions! DO NOT ORDER if you feel that you will not be able to go through with your order.

Boot sizes 8, 8.5, 12, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 14 are NON-RETURNABLE

Riding boots were worn by all mounted units of the German military, including cavalry, horse mounted reconaissance, and field artillery. Riding boots were also the primary footwear of most officers, whether or not they were members of mounted units. The use of these boots by officers was a vestige of the days when infantry officers rode while the men walked, so breeches and boots were a sign of rank. These boots were also worn as part of the Parade Uniform for both officers and enlisted men of Hitler's personal lifeguard regiment, the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler.

These exact reproductions are hand made in the USA of top quality leather and feature all the details you would expect to find in a Lost Battalions product. Painstakingly copied from an original wartime pair of German riding boots in the Lost Battalions reference collection, these boot feature shafts 41 cm tall and fully lined with tan leather. The shaft stiffener starts above the ankle to ensure full flexibility of the ankle joint, just as on the originals. The soles and half soles are hand-pegged with the traditional wooden pegs and the stacked leather heels are already fitted with the integrated flange-style steel "heel irons", to guarantee your superior officers will hear a satisfying click when they call you to attention. US sizes include 8 through14, including half sizes. German WW2 style single width only (wide width to accomodate thick German boot socks). Please state you calf size in the "special instructions" when ordering your boots.
